Collier County Tax Collector Relay for Life Team

There have been a number of employees that have been touched by the affects of the deadly disease of cancer.  Some of our own employees have had to battle this disease.  Others have friends or family members that have been affected by cancer.  To do their part to help find a cure for cancer, so that others won't have to experience the pain and loss that this disease can cause, they decided to participate in an American Cancer Society fundraiser called Relay for Life.  The employees of the Collier County Tax Collector's office formed a 2003 Relay for Life team.  They started working diligently on after-hours fund raising projects back in September 2002. Through their hard efforts they were able to raise $13,024.15.  This was the most money raised by any of the first time teams for the 2003 Relay for Life.
