About Guy L. Carlton 
Born in Ohio, August 23 1939. Married and has 2 daughters.
Served in the U.S. Army from 1958 - 1960.
Became resident of Collier County in April 1963.
Part owner and Manager of Port-O-Call Motel & Marina from 1963 - 1973.

Received degree in 'Wildlife Management" in 1973 and was employed by

Naples conservancy in that year as a research associate until July 1980

when his career objectives changed.

Elected Collier County Tax Collector in November 1980 and assumed office in January 1981, the position he currently holds.

A member of the North Naples Rotary Club since 1981. He is a Past President and was a District Governor's Representative of Rotary.

Serves on the Eagle Scout Board - Chaired Scouting for Food for three years.

Member of the North Naples United Methodist Church.
